Yoga is a place of harmony and balance, an intimate connection between body and mind, the world around us and beyond us.
It gives us a framework to develop a deeper awareness and understanding to live a more meaningful, joyful life.
For me Yoga is:
- Releasing blocks and tensions
- Feeling good in my body
- Returning to my breath and my centre
- Quieting the mind
- Calming the storms of emotion
- Nervous system regulation
- Flowing with my soul
- Opening my heart
- Self love
- Softening through tension
- Taking up challenges and meeting my fears
- Cultivating balance and stability
- Expanding awareness
- Opening my divine senses
- Becoming a better listener
- Clarity
- Freedom
- And so many other things

My Yoga Journey:
I attended my first yoga session in 2006 when I was a student in my hometown, Bucharest, Romania.
Yoga opened up my curiosity as well as my awareness and helped me embrace the higher dimensions. It helped me move through the depression I was in as an effect of not living the life I truly wanted. It supported me in taking action and generating change.
I moved countries, changed universities and there I kept practising. Yoga reminded me to be at home in my body, in my heart and in my community despite living as an expat. With this beautiful practice I could move more gracefully through loss, changes, stresses, uncertainties, growth, big decisions, fear, accidents and trauma. It made me take my wellbeing and my self-love in my hands.
My practice started with Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and moved on to exploring more styles such as Ashtanga, Forrest, Jivamukti, Restorative, Womb. I gradually began to evolve my own style of teaching slow flows based on somatic principles as well as addressing current research in anatomy and biomechanics.
I teach with an emphasis on alignment and quality of breath. My approach is technical and creative. Expect sequences that explore the anatomy of the body in stillness and movement, as well as the subtle, energetic body.
I am passionate about my own ever evolving practice and I am grateful to continue studying with Susanne Lahausen, Amy Ippoliti, Rachel Middleton, Isabell Britsch, Sybille Pouzet, Alicia Cheung, Jo Tastula, Stephanie Snyder and Meghan Currie.
I hold a 200hr teacher training diploma from Yoga London, accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance and I also have done well over 300 hours of intensives and workshops with deeply valued international teachers such as David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Lisa Walford, Ana Forrest, Cat-Alip Douglas, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Stephanie Snyder, Susanne Lahausen and many more.
I’ve also trained in yin yoga and mindfulness with Sarah Powers.
I did my Total Yoga Nidra training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Sivani Mata Francis with whom I also studied Womb Yoga.
I attended training in Nada Yoga and Kirtan with Gaiea Sanskrit, Sivani Mata Francis and Sulekh Ruparell.
